Gauge: 4 stitches to an inch



Instruction:
BACK:
With smaller needles cast on 42(46)sts.
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl
Cont in St st and Inc 1 st at each edge every 6th row three times.
Work until piece measure 10(12)” – 48(52)sts.
SHAPE ARMHOLES – Row 1: K1,ssk, k to 1st sts, k2tog,k1
Row 2: Purl
Rep Rows 1 and 2 thirteen (14) times more;
Place rem stitches on holder.



SLEEVE(MAKE2):
With larger needle case on 30(32)sts.
Row 1: *K2,p2;rep from * across row;end k2
Row 2: P2,k2,rep from * across row.
Cont in rib pat until piece measures 8(10)” Change to smaller needles.
Next row: Knit,inc 1 st at each end of row.
Next row: Purl.
Cont in St st and inc 1 st at each edge every 6th row two times 34(36)sts.
Work until piece measures 16(17)”.
Shape armholes-Row 1: Kl,ssk,k to last sts, k2tog,k1
Row 2:Purl
Rep Rows 1 and 2 thirteen(14)times more. Place rem sts on holder.



FRONT(MAKE2) With smaller needles, cast on 20sts(lineBC)
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: Kl,ssk,k to last 3 sts,k2tog,kl.
Rep Rows 2 and 3 until 1 st rem. Bind off.



FINISHING
Sew raglan edge of each Sleeve to corresponding raglan edge of Back as shown in Finishing diagram Step1.


Referring again to Step 1 diagram sew one Front along line AB to the other raglan edge of the Right Sleeve. Sew the other Front along line AC to the other raglan edge of the left sleeve.
Referring to the Finishing diagram Step 2, sew line AC of the Front attached to the Right Sleeve to the right edge of the lower Back; sew line AB of the left edge of the lower Back.


Sew Sleeve seems. With size 11 circular needle pick up and knit 108 sts around entire circumference, including the stitches still on holders, (BC of each front, raglan edges of sleeve, and top and bottom edges of Back) as shown in Step 2. Work in k2,p2 rib for 4.5". Bind off very loosely.
